[Personal Review] Abyss

Good morning! I'm so happy to be back and reviving this blog. I find time to write reviews but lately I don't have time to watch kdrama. Netflix won me over and I managed to finish The Big Bang Theory (after years of wondering where to watch it) and started watching Lucifer and Outlander (besides reading Outlander, I'm on book 4 now). This drama caught my eye a few months ago and I really didn't have time to write a good review, so here I am. I think Bo Young made me watch it. I like watching dramas because the characters are always funny and charming.

Actor : This drama is not that big because the story revolves around our main character and villain, which is more for me because I can only focus on the two main stories (best of kdrama, tbh). Park Bo Young as Lee Mi Do / Go Se Yeon ; I think I've said it before, it's great. I have seen some of his work and will continue to see it. He played this dead cop and it was the best, he played it well. Ahn Hyo Seop as Cha Min ; This guy I saw at my dad's house was weird and I thought he was cool, but I don't know who he is or how he works other than the clips I saw. He is very good in this drama, he plays his character well and I can say that he is very charming.

Their chemistry in this drama is so cute!! You really did a great job in this drama.

Story : The story is about the "Abyss" that raises the dead. Cha Min accidentally dies while trying to commit suicide. This is the first time that people like this circle have been resurrected using this abyss. After awakening, your face will be different because your soul is like that. He happened to be this handsome young bachelor.

Eventually, he learns that his best friend, Se Yoon, has died, and brings him back to life, turning him into a beautiful little girl who is very different from his old self.

Combination

Se Yeon & Cha Min ( Park Bo Young & Ahn Hyo Seop ) – At first I was a little skeptical about how this couple would turn out, but it worked out. I saw a clip on YouTube that really made me want to watch the show. I love how Bo Young's partner is taller than him, I don't know, he looks good on screen and there is little space between his body and arms. After all, their love story is beautiful. They are childhood friends, but Cha Min is still open about his feelings for Se Yin, but this is not the case. It's just a beautiful and totally innocent love story.

Park Dong Cheol and Lee Mi Do ( Lee Si Eon and Song Sang Eun ) – I don't want to spoil it too much, but I can't forget both. [ SPOILER ALERT ] They were actually a big part of the drama because Se Yeon came back from the dead and couldn't use her own name, so she used Lee Min's identity. . What he doesn't know now is that Mi Do is Dong Cheol's girlfriend. The plot I know is very convoluted, but it all worked out in the end. It's up to the four of them to solve the case. They then become a great couple and are happy to help.

My opinion: The drama is good. It's not very good because some details are missing. I was confused by Rogue's plot and the ending was very similar to Star Trek, which disappointed me. I was in touch with Cha Min's character development because his family was rich and they didn't tell him that he really wanted to be told that he had surgery. But for Se Yin, it is a different story, and since news of his death has spread, I wonder how he will live, if he uses his fingerprint, it will be written in someone's name. Honestly, that's what confused me, but other than that big plot hole. The love story is beautiful and fun to watch. I cried a few times because they kept dying lol, but if you can get past that it's fine.
